Slow Vietnam is a free travel guide, and keeping it free means some of the links on this site are affiliate links. This page explains exactly what that means for you.
What are affiliate links?
Some links on Slow Vietnam point to booking platforms such as Klook (tours, activities, eSIMs and transfers) and Agoda (hotels and resorts). If you click one of these links and make a booking, we may earn a small commission from the platform. You never pay more because of this — the price you see is exactly the same as if you had visited the site directly.
Our promise to you
- We only recommend what we would use ourselves. Every guide on this site is based on real, on-the-ground experience of living in and traveling around Vietnam — including many months on Phu Quoc island.
- Commissions never change our opinions. If a tour is overpriced or a beach is disappointing in a certain season, we say so, even when a booking link exists.
- Affiliate links are marked. All affiliate links on this site carry the
rel="sponsored nofollow"attribute, in line with Google’s guidelines and FTC disclosure rules.
Advertising
Slow Vietnam also displays advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads are clearly distinguishable from editorial content, and we have no control over which specific ads Google shows you. You can read more about how Google uses data in our Privacy Policy.
Affiliate booking partnerships on this site are operated by MARI TOUR CO., LTD, a travel company based in Busan, South Korea — see our Company Information page.
